1. Terms of Use
Welcome to StepsHQ, a web-based project management application owned and operated by Evolution Incorporated, based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using StepsHQ, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By using StepsHQ, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies we may establish from time to time. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, and contributors of content.

1.2 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Use by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

1.3 Use of the Platform
StepsHQ offers a range of features and services, some of which are free to use, while others may require a subscription or payment based on usage. You agree to use StepsHQ only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms of Use and any applicable laws and regulations.

1.4 Account Registration
To access certain features of StepsHQ, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

1.5 Data Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. StepsHQ does not share private data with any third party. Our platform is hosted on Amazon server infrastructure, which provides secure data storage and management. However, we are not responsible for any information or data loss that may occur.

1.6 Subscription and Billing
By subscribing to StepsHQ, you agree to allow us to automatically charge your provided payment method on a recurring basis for the subscription fees until you cancel your subscription. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

1.7 Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied with StepsHQ within the first 30 days of registration, you may cancel your subscription and request a refund. After 30 days, we do not provide any refunds. To cancel your subscription, please contact our support team.

1.8 Termination
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE OR SUSPEND YOUR ACCOUNT AND ACCESS TO STEPSHQ AT OUR SOLE DISCRETION, WITHOUT NOTICE, FOR CONDUCT THAT WE BELIEVE VIOLATES THESE TERMS OF USE OR IS HARMFUL TO OTHER USERS, US, OR THIRD PARTIES, OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

2.1 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use StepsHQ for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to:

• Engaging in any activity that is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.
• Uploading or distributing viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
• Using the platform to harass, abuse, or harm another person or entity.
• Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts.
• Using the platform to distribute unsolicited commercial messages (spam).

2.2 User Content
You are solely responsible for any content you upload, post, or otherwise transmit through StepsHQ. You agree not to upload, post, or otherwise transmit any content that:

• Is offensive, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Violates the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights.
• Contains any form of advertising or solicitation without our prior written consent.

2.3 Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates this Acceptable Use Policy, including without limitation, removing the offending content from the platform, suspending or terminating the account of such violators, and reporting them to law enforcement authorities.

3. Copyright Policy

3.1 Respect for Copyright
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. It is our policy to terminate in appropriate circumstances the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of copyright holders.

3.2 Reporting Copyright Infringements
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
• A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
• A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site.
• Your address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
